The first time I laid my undeserving eyes on Miho Kanno was during some forsaken Sunday night at around 10:00pm when I flipped the channel to the dorama "Kimi no te ga sasayaite iru" which was filmed in 1997~99. In english this roughly translates to mean "Whispering Hands". Not only did this dorama possess an amazing storyline, but Miho Kanno and Shinji Takeda masterfully "adapted" to their new roles. (But I would have to comment that Miho did a tidbit better than Shinji). As the main character, a deaf, insecure woman, Miho was truly captivating in the poignant scenes between mother and daughter. Oh yes, did I mention that she also plays a mother who has a difficult time with her unruly, rebellious child?! Well, she does. OOOooOO~! I cannot even begin to describe how charming she is! Every time I see her, I am blown away by her beauty and goddess-like qualities. Her skin is ethereal and glowing, her voice melodious as a chirping nightingale, her eyes twinkling and pure, and her smile cheerful and simply captivating. Aside from her physical characteristics, Miho is also a wonderful, and I mean WONDERFUL actress. She is SO darn convincing with those BIG innocent eyes. I think her acting is flawless. As a side note, I am however somewhat humiliated for her. Probably as many of you know, nude photos of her have been circulating everywhere. Yes, I know that many people are unmoved, almost jaded by the constant bombardement of obscene advertisements that feature nudity... however, Miho nude is a different story. It's just that I would like to imagine my ideal star as one untainted and pure. I am just ashamed, disheartened, and downright sad of what she had decided to make public. Although this is a tremendous lowering of her in my eyes, she is still a good actress nonetheless.
