Hanazakari no Kimitachi e -------------------------------------- "For you in Full Blossom" is the funniest manga I've ever read. This shoujo manga was written by the incredibly-talented Hisaya Nakajo. Truly, when I was reading it, I couldn't put it down!! I've never really felt like this about a manga or any other story, but I really couldn't stop smiling. Although I'm not finished reading the whole series, I'm am VERY VERY hungry for more. Each volume has like an ultimate climax, that makes you wanting more. The story goes something like this: An adventurous young girl, Mizuki Ashiya, is captivated with bubbling interest when she sees the amazingly limber athlete, Izumi Sano, high jump in the air through a television broadcast. She is amazed by his graceful jump, and begins to research everything about him including where he lives. Absolutely determined to see him high jump through her own eyes, she works part-time for three years to save money to go to Japan. Mizuki, however, has one teensy-weensy problem. Sano attends an all BOYS boarding school. Mizuki soon rectifies that. Her best friend, Julia, snips off her long beautiful hair short like a guy. This is where the adventure begins... |
