PowerPoint Presentation: Gwacheon City|Listen To My Voice

Intro
Owing to Jesus Christ, I'm here at the English Language Institute of the University of Utah in the U.S.A.
Thanks to Him for giving me various opportunities in spite of being short of ability.
I worried about learning English and besides the other things before I attended the ELI, but I became to trust myself and the teachers and Institute now, so I think I can gain a better understanding of the world which is more important than to improve English speaking.
I am forty five years old. Why do I say my age? Because that is a fear for me, but I forget my age. Of course, I often make mistakes and misunderstand about studying until now. By the way, I am proud of me as mother who has two sons and my husband.

As you know, Gwacheon City that I work for is a very clean and beautiful city. The slogan of Gwacheon City is "My heart, my city". It's interesting, isn't it?
Gwacheon City outgrew the government's administrative blueprint. It has various cultural and natural attractions, including the National Museum of Contemporary Art, and Seoul Land. This area is surrounded by Mt. Gwangksan, Mt. Chonggyesan, and Mt. Umyeonsan. Gwacheon is a garden city with exuberant trees, clear air, and clean water, and centered on Government Complex Gwacheon. Today, it is considered a highly desirable city to live and work.

Now, I am going to write about life at the ELI and Salt Lake City.
There are twenty members in my ELI program. They're all Gyeonggi Provincial officials who work for each different counties and cities. so we have met for the first time, but we are friendly very quickly. Now, we have a good friendship, Though one month is short time, if we separate, we will miss each other.

The first impression of Salt Lake City is peaceful and silent. Thinking about that has not changed until now. It was very fresh, but cold and windy when I arrived here.

A view around campus
The tops of the mountains are covered with snow although spring has arrived. It is very beautiful and wondrous. Salt Lake City combines Rocky Mountain ambience with the best of big city.
Blue sky with white clouds is like an excellent picture.
I'm part from my family. So I have been lonely sometimes, but the view of Salt Lake City makes me feel comfortable.

Experience
I often go downtown after class for shopping and conducting research and visiting the capital building, city and county buildings, the City library and the Business Expo. The Business Expo was very interesting: many products, companies, and pleasant events.
I have tried automatic check out and refunding at a store called Fred Meyer when I was shopping.
Utah's transportation system is convenient: a light rail system called Trax, buses, and taxis are connected together.
My classmates all went to Arches, but I didn't go there because I had to visit my friend in L.A. She and I have been part for twenty four years. This time we could meet again. She is a C.P.A, and we were so excited.
My trip to Salt Lake City made this meeting possible.
I made a flight reservation through the Internet in other to go L.A, and I called a Yellow Cab in my poor English. Also I had to take a bus from the airport to downtown.
How worried I was before I got on the plane, but I traveled to L.A. safely. I went to Disneyland with my friend and her son, and we enjoyed the day.

Future plans and Goals
First of all, I will continue learning English, and then I will contribute that international interchange to my city and Ardre in Canada as I understand the culture of the world.

Finally I really appreciate Randall, George, Lisa, and Valentina. They are our good friends and good teachers. I will not forget these days we were together.
