NON-FICTION

FICTION

THE FRACTAL GEOMETRY OF NATURE by Benoit Mandelbrot
  • An interesting and oddly mathematical look and the Deterministic, Non-linear, Dynamical systems through which Fractal Geometry works; by one of the most contributing chaoticians of our time
  • SLAUGHTER-HOUSE FIVE by Kurt Vonnegut
  • An incredibly twised, semi-autobiographical rendition of a man who is "unstuck" in time. Shows aspects of the Dresden Firebombings and other influences of WWII
  • TAO OF JEET-KUNE-DO by Bruce Lee
  • Free from the restraints of style, form, structure and algorithmical issues, Jeet-Kune-Do is the way the Dragon did it. Interestingly detailed and honestly modest
  • THE ANDROMEDA STRAIN by Michael Crichton
  • The easy reading story of a new strain of virus, found in an abandonded (diseased) town, that is researched in a top-secret, high-tech, underground facility and gets loose to cause possible mayhem and disamay in society.
  • THE COLLAPSING UNIVERSE by Assac Asimov
  • Scientifically detailed and notably logical description of the universe as we know it, the facts behind it and the mystery of novas, blackholes and other issues of celestial paradigm
  • THE DEATH COMMITTEE by Noah Gordon
  • Multi-plot story about the lives of doctors and the group of professionals that discuss deaths on the Transplantation ward in a city Hospital. This one kept me on the throne for hours at end
  • GREY'S ANATOMY by Dr. Henry Grey
  • The undisputed textbook of modern anatomy, written long ago but used to this day. Detailed Surgical and Gross Anatomy of the Human System through written and diagrammatical description of anatomical geography.
  • CATCHER IN THE RYE by J.D. Salinger
  • The story of Holden Caufeild; a "cynical adolescent" whose adventure through a couple of days of his life show the issues of a sixteen-year-old boy. If you haven't yet read this book you've either failed through Highschool, or haven't been spending enough time on the shitter.
