The art of Lying

When I was still a kid, I remember my teacher telling us that it's ok to lie as long as its for a good cause and it's petty.. she even has a name for it --white lies. She's so wrong , whether for good valuable reasons or how light or serious the matter on hand is, it's still a LIE.

I have learned that there's no such thing as white lies-- there can only be a bad and good liar. And I consider it an ART. A war of the minds.. the objective of the which is to convince the other person to believe what you say. People lie--it's part of human nature. It's what they are. And I am no excuse, hey.. I'm only human (or I would like to think that way). I do stupid things and what better way to escape the fury and wrath than to give a good excuse. Yes, for me lying is a synonym to excuses. You say things to save your own butt or soul or whatever. It's an art to be learned. A craft to be mastered. I have seen bad liars.. and I tell you-- they are easily caught and they are kinda pathetic really for they come up with stupid reasons. Good liars are good artist, they can tell you a lie and you'll believe them. there's just no way or even a hint that what they are telling you is something that's made up or out of their imaginations. This is the art of lying:

 Think of all possible consequences.
 Think of a contingent plan, or follow up statements that would affirm your lie to be the truth. (read it slower, you'll understand it better)
 Look straight into the other person's eyes. They would think that you have nothing to hide.
 Be assertive. Answer questions straight to the point.
 Act as if you are telling the truth.. that 'll scare them off. Hehehe
 If you got caught.. don't ever tell them the truth. It'll taint you forever.

We live in a world where lie outnumbered the truth. Lie if you must just Don't live it…don't breath it.

today i discovered a sad truth about KAYCEE and Debbie--- it was all a h o a x. although the story about the cancer was true-- and all the emotions poured were true..the story of kaycee was weaved...made by debbie. i went to the site and i decided to copy some excerpts:

Her name was not Kaycee and she was not my daughter, but I loved her as if she had been. And I grieve her loss.

The blog was about the lives of three people who suffered, one with breast cancer, one with leukemia, and one with Liver cancer. Each were strong, vibrant, and loving individuals. Each were real. Each died much too soon.

I am to blame for wanting to tell their stories. I am to blame for weaving the lives of all three together. I chose to share their voices as one rather than three separately. I wrote their thoughts, their humorous sides, their struggles, their fears.....(more on the site, however-- i have read that it'll be brought down today).. -- this one is from debbie's site.

today, debbie emailed me her blog. i was tremendously stunned when i read it. i urged her to call me on the phone. she did. i asked a lot of questions. she confessed the truth of her motivations to me. she confessed her guilt. xxx
because i care about people, i was taken in. call me a fool, call me gullible.

debbie told me she did this out of a misguided attempt to tell the stories of people she loved. this was not a scam. this was not a malicious attempt to manipulate or hurt people.

she regrets her mistake. she asked me to forgive her. i have. she said i have every right to hate her. i do not. believe it or not, i still care about her. she is grieving, and this admission only compounds the grief. when someone tells me they are truly sorry, and i hear it said sincerely, then i believe it. -- this one from BWG. sad fact but true.

GOOD MORNING!! is the sun out today?!!

Anyways, immediately after i woke up-- i took a seat in front of the pc and decided to fix the layout of my cousin's blogs.. i just hope that she would be able to continue what she has started and that she'll find it interesting as much as i do. See that layout? i made that just for her--- hmm early B-day gift? ( you better love me girl! ) lolz.... ]:)

As i was uploading the newly renovated layout--- i checked out my bestfriend's site . I discovered that she's a good writer-- heheh..direct and concise. Very interesting entries too. First day to have a blog and there are 2 long longgggggggg entries already! boy, when she got something to say--she GOT something to say. I am happy that finally--she's able to stay in a room, listening to soft music--and not think of where she's going to shop next or think of things that she wants to but but really not needed. Isn't that feeling sublime? Now, money can't buy that feeling...feeling of contentment and being at peace with yourself and with things that surrounds you. That's what you call satisfaction. I do hope too that Jane would be able to keep her blogs updated. hehehe... we don't know when tardiness will strike, do we? love yah, guys!

We celebrated Len's b-day today, she turned 25 ,26, 19 23, there I got it right! Bwahahahaha! As usual my cousins and I had a tremendous time checking on updates. We are old and yet we are still "childish" in many ways. We haven't grew up (just yet, ) there'll be a lot of time for that later ! I just hope that whatever we guys have now-- we get to keep till we grow old. Tita Nida's Buko pandan is SUPERB!! Ate Heisen cooked the spags!! Wooo hooo! She's getting good at it. ]:) good point of the day.

This is a tiring day although I didn't do much…and I'm so boreeeeeeeeeed (yes , I realized that I am still overly Bored!)!! Why is God making me feel like this? It's so terrible.. I hate this feeling. Empty but not lonely.. Does it make any sense? Do I make any sense?

Anyway, I finally had the courage to go to my school and check on the enrollment and my grades.. I'll go this Tuesday or Thursday.. do hope that there's some good news waiting for me. And if ever there would be bad ones-- that I would be able to handle it with composure and poise. Jane is thinking about having her own blogs and Cecil decided to keep hers although I got to make a layout for her. That's about for now, kulasisi! U better be good…
