| America, What have they done to you? America... the most powerful nation in the world. America... a land where freedom is the cornerstone, on which we stand. America...the home of democracy. A land that welcomes all to her shores. A melting pot of many nationalities, united into one great nation. America... the first to jump to the aid of other countries. America... my homeland. What have they done to you? They came with their acts of terror.. they tried to bring you to your knees.. they hurt.. they crippled.. they maimed. They took precious innocent lives. But.. You didnt fall. what they have done to you America is to make your resolve for freedom more concrete. What they have done is to make you more aware of how precious life is. What they have done is to make your people prouder than ever before to call you their home. What they have done is to make us aware that we are willing to stand up and fight for the precious freedom that our forefathers fought for... so many years before us. She may waver under their evil acts. But, SHE WILL ALWAYS STAND. My America.. Now and forever.. the greatest nation on earth. |
