| Secrets A crowded room... Noises all around us. People laughing.. drinking.. telling jokes You look once into my eyes... and a slow sweet smile crosses your lips. and you know.. without a single word. For one brief moment... I can't hear them anymore. There is no one in the room but you and I. My heart quickens.. and I can't breathe. Then you turn and walk away. I begin a conversation with the others. I laugh.. and drink.. and tell jokes. I've become a part of their world again. But.. my heart remembers.. and holds it's secrets close |
