Children of the World

In a hot and humid desert
somewhere half a world away
there's a storm thats raging swiftly
that can't wait another day.
It's not made of rain and thunder
and no lightning will you see
but a nations's people crying out
their yearning to be free.
There's a mad-man holding people
captive in their own homeland
and his weapons swift and deadly
lie there waiting in the sand.
But the heroes we have sent there
fighting bravely through this night
will not give up until they've turned
the darkness into light
America, you should be proud
of your sons and daughters too
They bravely give their very best
to show their pride in you.
And to our allied brothers
who are giving us their all
together we will find the strength
to make the mad-man fall
And when the weapons are laid down
then peace will rule the land
and we'll become united men
then we will understand
that though we may be different
with our many flags unfurled..
inside we still are brothers..
the children of the world.
