For Harry

He came to us with music
He spoke of hopes and dreams
He tried to feed the children
He touched us with his schemes

His songs touched young and old alike
Sometimes he made us smile
He made us sing and laugh and dream
and forget things for awhile

They called him the great storyman
He tried to make us see
the way things really are in life
and the way they ought to be

He taught us with his wisdom
He touched us with his grace
and for me because of him
this worlds a nicer place

I know that we shall miss him
but I hope that we can see
that we can smile for Harry's found
"that better place to be"
