| A while back I asked on Bob's 4 cycle if anyone had any Ideas for a simple cutter for the plug area on the Animal head. After cutting enough material out of the head to get a head temp sensor on my Animal I had a few nick in the plug seating area and the plug leaked when it was running. Heres what I came up with to solve the problem and it works excellent. All I did was cut the treaded end off a 3/4 reach spark plug. I center drilled the plug end with a 3/8 drill bit and pressed a big briggs valve guide into it from a 5hp flat head.. The cutter is a .900 valve spring spring relief cutter for a modified. It can be bought at just about any kart shop. The is enough room when your done for Digitron CHT Sensor. Hope this helps someone out. |
