Elaine and Bernard Schendt

Elaine Lois Schendt born Jan. 29, 1942 near Humboldt, NE. After graduating
from Bratton Union High School in 1959, she attended a business college
in Lincoln, NE, then went to work for O'Sheah-Rogers Tractor Co., a distributor
of Ford farm equipment. There she met Bernard Schendt, born July 18, 1940,
in Nuckolls County, NE. "Butch" and Elaine were married on Aug. 31, 1963
in Lincoln, NE. Soon thereafter, "Butch" was hired by the Ford Motor Company's
tractor and equipment division and was transferred to the Kansas City, MO.
area.
He worked various office positions in the "parts division". He is currently employed by the Grandview School District.
They made their permanent home in Grandview, MO. Elaine has an office positions with Compas Controls. which is
a manufacturers' rep organization
and also produces oxygen monitoring devices. Both of their children
graduated from Grandview High School and Northwest Missouri State
University in Maryville, MO. Cheryl received a Bachelor of Science degree
in international marketing, Brian received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree
in graphic art.
- Cheryl Ann born Nov. 17, 1964. Married on June 6, 1987 to Rob Heschmeyer,
born April 22, 1960. They have 8 children:
