378 - Barzun (Tortall's southern neighbour) conquered by Jasson III of Tortall.

412 - George Cooper born.

416 - Aug - Prince Jonathon of Conte born.

419 - May - Twins Alanna and Thom of Trebond are born.

422 - Numair Salmalin born as Arram Draper.

430 - Alanna: The First Adventure begins.
Feb or Mar - Alanna becomes a page. Thom goes to the City of the Gods.
May or June - Alanna meets the King of the Rogues George Cooper.
Dec - After Alanna beats him in a fight Ralon of Malven leaves Court. Gareth of Naxon, Raoul of Goldenlake and Alexander of Tirragen become squires.

431 - Numair enters the Imperial University in Carthak.
Mar - Alanna saves Jon from the Sweating Sickness.
July - Duke Roger of Conte returns from Carthak.
Dec - Jon is made a squire.

432 - May - George learns that Alanna is a girl.
Sometime in the Autumn - Alanna finds her sword Lightning.

433 - April or May - Alanna and Jon defeat the Ysandir in the Black City.
Alanna: The First Adventure ends.
Dec - Alanna becomes a squire and Jon goes through his Ordeal and is knighted.

434 - Jan or Feb - Lord Alan of Trebond (Alanna and Thom's father) dies.
In the Hand of the Goddess begins.
Early Spring or Late Winter - Alanna meets the Mother Goddess and Faithful while taking shelter from a storm under a tree.
July - Alanna duels Dain of Tusiane.
Aug - Alanna meets Delia of Eldorne.

435 - Jan - A boar attacks Alanna in the snow.
Mar - Alanna duels with Alex and he nearly kills her.
Summer - Tusaine War.
Autumn - Alanna has lessons with Mistress Cooper on how to act like a girl.

436 - Feb - Alanna is attacked by the wolf Demon Grey.
Feb or Mar - Veralidaine Sarrasri born.
May - Alanna turns 17 and she and Jon become lovers.

437 - Jan - Alanna has an ice-skating accident.
April - Alanna and George go to the City of the Gods to visit Thom.
April or May? - Thom becomes a Master of the Mithran Light.
May - Alanna turns 18.
May or June - Alanna tells Gary that she's a girl.
Dec - Alanna goes through her Ordeal and is knighted. She challenges Roger to a duel and wins. The Court learns that she is a girl.

438 - The Woman Who Rides Like a Man begins.
Jan - Alanna and Coram leave Corus for the desert. Alanna and Coram become members of the Bloody Hawk tribe.
Spring - Myles of Olau adopts Alanna as his daughter and heir.
Summer - Jon becomes the Voice of the Bazhir.
Late Summer - Jon returns to Corus and meets Princess Josiane.
Early Autumn - Alanna returns to Port Caynn and she and George become lovers.
All Hallows (Oct) - Thom takes Alanna's Gift for his experiments.
Nov or Dec - Claw (Ralon of Malven) starts making trouble.
Dec - Alanna goes back to the Bazhir.

439 - Jan - Alanna goes to Alois and meets the sorceress, who gives her a letter for Halef. She mends her sword Lightning.
The Woman Who Rides Like a Man ends.
Lioness Rampant begins.
Mar - Alanna meets Liam Ironarm, the Shang Dragon in Maren. Alanna meets the Mother Goddess again while out riding. Queen Lianne dies.
April - King Roald kills himself.
Spring - Princess Thayet and her guard Buri join Alanna, Coram and Liam.
May - Alanna finds the Dominion Jewel.
Spring or Summer - Thom raises Duke Roger from the dead.
June or early July - Alanna becomes King's Champion. George is made Baron of Pirate's Swoop and the King's assistant spymaster.
July - Prince Jonathon is crowned King of Tortall and Duke Roger is killed by Alanna for the second time. Alex of Tirragen and Princess Josiane of the Copper Isles are also killed by Alanna. Liam dies defending Jon and Faithful returns to his home after giving Alanna all his strength.
Late July - Alanna returns to the Bazhir.
Oct - Thayet and Buri visit Alanna in the desert. The Shang Wildcat also visits with a letter for Alanna left with her by Liam before he died. George asks Alanna to marry him and she says yes.
Lioness Rampant ends.
Jon and Princess Thayet marry, Coram and Rispah marry, Myles and Eleni Cooper marry, George Cooper and Alanna marry.

440 - Public schooling becomes available to all Tortallians.

441 - Prince Roald of Conte born.

442 - Thayet sets up the Queen's Riders. Ozorne becomes Emperor of Carthak. Keladry of Mindelan born. Jon passes a decree that girls can become pages. Princess Kalasin of Conte born.

443 - Thom of Pirate's Swoop and Olau born. Prince Liam of Conte born?

444 - Princess Lianne of Conte born?

445 - Prince Jasson of Conte born?

446 - Alanna's twins Alianne and Alan born. Saraiyu Balitang born. Kel's family goes to the Yamani Islands.

447 - The barrier between the Realms is breached and the first Immortals appear. Kel's mother, Ilane of Mindelan, defends the sacred swords from Scanran raiders.

449 - End of January - Daine's family is killed by bandits.
Wild Magic begins.
Late March - Daine meets Onua at a fair in Galla and Onua hires her as her assistant. Daine returns to Tortall with her. Numair becomes Daine's teacher.
Summer - Pirate's Swoop is attacked by a combined force of Carthaki mages, Copper Islanders and Stormwings. The dragon Skysong is born. Her mother dies defending Pirate's Swoop.
Wild Magic ends.

450 - Mar - A group of the Queen's Riders goes missing.
July - 20 soldiers from the King's Own go missing.
Wolf-Speaker begins.
Sept - Daine and Numair go to Long Lake.
Daine learns to shape-shift.
Daine meets the Stormwing Rikash and the Basilisk Tkaa.
Numair turns Tristan Staghorn into a tree.
Wolf-Speaker ends.
Dovasary Balitang born.

451 - Emperor Mage begins.
Summer - A peace delegation is sent to Carthak. Daine goes along with Numair. The peace delegation includes Alanna, Numair, Duke Gareth, Duke Gareth's son Gary and Lord Martin.
The Graveyard Hag decides that she doesn't like the way that Carthak is run and gives Daine the power to raise the dead. Daine uses it to destroy the palace. Bonedancer, the skeleton is also raised from the dead by Daine.
Ozorne becomes a Stormwing. Kaddar becomes Emperor of Carthak. Numair's friend Lindhall Reed and Bonedancer go back to Tortall with the peace delegation.
Emperor Mage ends.
In the Realms of the Gods begins.
Dec - The barrier between the Divine Realms and the Mortal Realms Autumns.

452 - Midsummer - Daine and Numair cross over into the Divine Realms.
Summer to Early Autumn - The Immortals' War. Port Legann is attacked. Daine meets her mother and father in the Divine Realms. She and Numair travel to the Dragonlands. The dragons help save Port Legann. Ozorne is killed.
In the Realms of the Gods ends.
Kel's family returns from the Yamani Islands.
First Test begins.
Sept - Keladry of Mindelan becomes a probationary page.

453 - Apr - Kel becomes a 2nd year page.
Summer - Spidren fight.
Late Summer - Wyldon allows Kel to remain a page.
First Test ends.
Page begins.
Sept - Kel finds the dog Jump and hires Lalasa as her servant.

454 - Apr - Kel becomes a 3rd year page.
June - Bandit fight at the summer camp.
Aug - Kel climbs Balor's Needle to give a message to the King.
Autumn - Lord Wyldon changes the training methods.

455 - Duchess Sarugani, Mequen Balitang's raka wife, is killed in a riding accident.
Mar - Vinson attacks Lalasa.
Apr - Kel becomes a 4th year page.
June - Summer camp to Dunlath.
Nov - 'Battle' of the rock in the Royal Forest.

456 - Apr - Lalasa is kidnapped and Kel has to go up to Balor's Needle to rescue her. Kel becomes a squire.
Page ends.

Summer - Raoul of Goldenlake takes Kel on as his squire.
Kel finds a baby Griffin.
Nov - The Yamani Ladies arrive.
Dec - Lalasa's kidnappers are put on trial.

457 - Feb - Third Company escort the Tyran Ambassador to his own borders. On their return to Corus George Cooper and Third Company hunt down pirates near Bay Cove.
Mar - Third Company stay with Bazhir in the desert.
May - Third Company head back to the palace. The Grand Progress starts. After two weeks rest Third Company catch up with the Progress.
May or June - Kel meets Alanna at a banquet.
Autumn - Kel beats Sir Ansil and Sir Voeldon in the tournaments. The griffin is returned to his parents.
Winter - Kel loses against Lord Wyldon in the tournament.
3 days before Midwinter - The Progress returns to the palace.
Midwinter - Cleon is knighted. Vinson goes through his Ordeal and requests an audience with the king. Joren dies in the Chamber.
Just after Midwinter - Lord Wyldon resigns. Padraig HaMinch takes his place as training-master. Wyldon takes Owen of Jesslaw on as his squire. The Progress sets off again and heads to Persopolis.

458 - Spring - Kel loses to Wyldon again in a tournament. While the Progress is in Fief Mindelan Scanran wolf-ships are sighted off the coast and Scanrans cross the border just after Kel's 17 birthday. The Grand Progress ends.
Feb - The Scanran Warlord Maggur unites nine clans under his banner. Kel goes north with Third Company to the border.
Petranne Balitang born.

459 - Summer - Third Company is attacked by Scanrans. Kel has her first meeting with one of the Scanrans' deadly killing machines. Raoul takes down a giant.
End of Sept to Mid-Oct - Kel returns to Corus with Raoul for her Ordeal.
Dec - Neal goes through his Ordeal and is knighted. Yuki realises that she likes him. Esmond of Nicoline, Seaver of Tasride, Quinden of Marti's Hill and Merric of Hollyrose are knighted. Kel goes through her Ordeal and the Chamber sets her a task. Kel is knighted and Alanna gives her a sword which Kel names Griffin.
Squire ends.
Elsren Balitang born.

460 - Lady Knight begins.
Mar - Maggar becomes King of Scanra.
End of Mar - Kel, Raoul, Alanna, Duke Baird and Neal ride north. Kel saves the boy Tobeis from unkind masters and takes him on as her servant.
1-14 Apr - Cleon breaks off his relationship with Kel. Kel goes to Fort Giantkiller where she receives her posting from Wyldon: to command a refugee camp near the Scanran border. Neal and Duke Baird go along with her. Merric also goes along. Kel names the camp Haven.
15-23 Apr - Numair arrives with more refugees and clerks for Kel. Haven is attacked by Scanran raiders and shamans. Kel and her people destroy two killing devices that the Scanrans brought with them. Numair adds magical protections to Haven. Kel begins teaching the children how to use spears. Daine arrives at Haven and puts a little of her magic into the animals to make them smarter so they can help Kel defend Haven. More refugees arrive. There is another Scanran attack.
30 Apr - After yet another attack, Kel goes to Fort Mistaff to deliver a report to Lord Wyldon. Kel learns that Fort Giantkiller has fallen to the Scanrans.
2-3 May - Kel returns to Haven. Haven is attacked by Scanrans again.
6 May - 3 June - Kel leaves for Fort Mistaff to get supplies and report to Wyldon. While she is away, Haven is attacked and some refugees taken prisoner by the Scanrans. Kel returns to survey the damage.
4-7 June - Kel sneaks off to find her missing refugees. Merric, Neal, Owen, Seaver, Esmond and Tobe decide to go after her, even though it is treason. Dom's squad is sent after Kel by Raoul. Dom's squad and Kel's friends catch up to her. Neal uses contacts from his years as Alanna's squire to get them passage across the Vassa River.
8 June - Kel and her friends defeat a Scanran scouting party. They find the Scanrans' camp and free some of the refugees.
9-10 June - Kel starts to pick off the Scanrans and free some of the children. They arrive at Blace's village where they meet a young girl who is a seer. She calls Kel 'the Protector of the Small'.
10-11 June - The villagers help Kel plan to free the children from Blace. She sneaks into the castle and hunts down Blace. She kills his henchman Stenman and Blace.
18 June - Kel returns to Tortall with some villagers who didn't want to stay in a place with so many bad memories. Irnai, the seer, is one of them. Wyldon pardons Kel and her friends and puts her in command of another refugee camp: 'New Hope'.
20 Sept - Kel heads to Steadfast with Neal for a week, where Yuki and Dom are staying.
Lady Knight ends.

461 - I'm assuming that Prince Roald and Princess Shinkokami of the Yamani Islands are married sometime this year and Princess Kalasin and Emperor Kaddar are married. Neal and Yuki also marry and Buri and Raoul marry.

462 - Trickster's Choice begins.
27 Mar - Aly arrives back at Pirate's Swoop after a month's stay in Corus.
30 Mar - George gets a message that one of his Scanran agents, LandAutumn, is in Corus with news. Geroge leaves to get him.
31 Mar - Alanna arrives back at Pirate's Swoop for a month's rest.
1 Apr - Aly leaves in her boat the Cub for Port Legann.
4 Apr - Aly is caught by pirates in Griffin Cove and made a slave.
18 Apr - Aly is put into the Rajmuat slave market in the Copper Isles to be sold.
24 Apr - George gets a message from Lord Imrah of Legann that says Aly isn't there.
25 Apr - Alanna leaves to head up north.
4 May - Bronau arrives to see the Balitangs in the middle of the night.
5 May - The Balitangs announce that they have fallen out of favour with King Oron and have to flee.
6 May - Aly meets Kyprioth and makes her wager with him.
8 May - The Balitangs leave. Bronau sees them off.
11 May - The ship emerges into the Azure Sea. The Balitangs spend the night at Ambririp.
12 May - They arrive at Dimari's City Harbour.
13 May - They set out to Tanair.
18 May - They reach Tanair. Duchess Winnamine offers to free Aly. She refuses and asks for work as a goatherder. Aly meets Nawat and the other crows.
19 May - Daine and Numair's baby has been born.
1 June - Nawat shows up in human form.
10 June - Ulasim's daughter, becomes Aly's protector.
22 June (Midsummer's Day) - Daine and Numair's baby's naming ceremony (they named her Sarralyn).
29 June - Kyprioth shows Aly King Oron's death. Prince Hazarin is crowned king.
4 July - Bronau leaves for Rajmuat. Aly goes into Pohan to see the mage Ochobu Dodeka (Ulasim's mother). Ochobu agrees to help Aly. She becomes the Balitang's healer. Aly becomes Dove's maid.

18 July? - Alanna learns from Tkaa that George has gone to Rajmuat to search for Aly. Diplomats from Scanra are in Corus to negotiate a peace treaty.
26 July - Kyprioth shows Aly King Hazarin's death. Three year old Dunevon is crowned king with his sister Imajane and her husband Rubinyan as regents.
27 Aug - Bronau arrives. That night he attacks the Balitangs and tries to force Sarai to be his wife. She refuses and he kills Duke Mequen. Dove kills Bronau with Nawat's griffin-fletched feathers.
29 Aug - The dead are buried. Lokeij and Veron are among them. Veron died defending the gate, even though he was a Crown spy.
5 Sept - Winna frees Aly.
14 Sept - George arrives with a merchant caravan in the guise of a slave dealer. He is reunited with Aly. He confronts Kyprioth, who is his patron god, and tells him to send Aly back to Pirate's Swoop. Aly decides to stay and help Kyprioth complete his greatest trick. George meets Nawat.
17 Sept - George leaves with the merchant caravan. Alanna is coming back to Pirate's Swoop for a rest.
