About 8 years ago, Pierre "PK" was hired as the car chief on the #99 team. But at the beginning of the 2006 season, Jack Roush promoted Pierre to be the crew chief for the #60 Busch team (driver - Carl Edwards). It sort of came as a surprise, but it has proven to be a very good opportunity. After winning 4 races, and getting wrecked in the lead laps a few times, the #60 team finished their season in 2nd place.
