Justin's favorite recipe says "Take a Kudzu member,
find a member of Immanuel that needs some type of service performed, mix
them together, throw in a good dose of hard work, and BAM!" You get
Rent-a-Kudzu, an event that raises money for a worthy charity.
Here's how it works: Members of Kudzu rent themselves to the
highest bidder. The winner gets the services of the Kudzu member
for four hours of work around the house. Typical duties have
included house cleaning, car detailing, painting, yard work and cooking.
Last year over $1,000 dollars was raised for Habit for
Humanity. This year's proceeds will go to the Home
of the Innocents.
