Infant Car Seat Safety Checks

On May 30th, 2001, Kudzu sponsored another infant care seat safety check with Drive Smart Kentucky at Immanuel UCC.  Safety experts worked with parents to examine and correct the placement of their infant car seats within their automobiles.  In total, twenty-seven seats were inspected with a misuse rate of 92%, which is higher than the national average of 90%.  Three seats were found to be in need of replacement and new seats were issued to the families.  This service was open to the general public.  Thanks to everyone who helped make this checkpoint a success!  For more pictures, click here.
