Chapter 4--Attack on the Hogwarts Express::

Everyone arose early the next morning, people of the Ministry are dashing here and there.

"I gotta go, Molly, Fudge is looking for trouble." Mr. Weasley said while scribbling frantically on a piece parchment.

"I'm retired, what the hell do they want me for?!" Moody growled.

"Someone tried to rob Gringotts! I have to go!!" Tonks screeched.

There was even more mayhem than the night before, everyone was dashing here and there, Apparating and Disapparating, causing chaos everywhere. Mrs. Weasley have given up on giving making people eat breakfast and woke Ginny up furiously and was even more enraged when Fred and George told her that the parchment she just threw away was a customer's order form.

Harry almost got ran over by the rampaging Dedalus Diggle and Emmeline Vance suffered from Crookshank's claws after accidentally stepping on its tail. Ron had to stun Sturgis Podmore and Hestia Jones to prevent getting squashed and Kingsley Shacklebolt and Elphias Doge fell off the stairs in attempt to take the last of the Floo Powders.

At five minutes to eleven Mrs. Weasley shrieked and told Harry, Ron, and Hermione to Apparate quickly. They did so and waited at Platform Nine-and-Three-Quarters, watching their trunks appearing one by one, followed by Hedwig and Crookshanks and at last, Mrs. Weasley herself with Ginny and Lupin.

Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny were accompanied by Lupin, who reminded them that he is, once again, their Dark Arts teacher. The train started to move at eleven o'clock, and Lupin, like he did three years ago, fell asleep straightway.

Around noon, the lunch cart had came and they emptied their wallet considerably. At around two in the afternoon, they were visited by their friends. Neville Longbottom, Dean Thomas, Lavender Brown, Parvati and Padma Patil, Luna Lovegood. Then came Ernie Macmillian, Justin Finch-Fletchley, Hannah Abott, and at last, Cho Chang.

Harry went red in the face at the sight of Cho, who smiled and took the seat next to him. "Isn't it great? Most of the people in Dumbledore's Army are here!" She exclaimed happily.

"We thought that, after last year's incident, something else is bound to happen this year. So why not stick together?" Said Neville Longbottom, a round-faced sixth year who had an unbelievable performance last year when fighting against the Death Eaters.

"So this is it, is it?" said a hoarse voice; Professor Lupin had woke up. "Although Dumbledore will tell you guys later, I'd rather have you guys know this before hand: You are above others in the Dark Arts territory, which is why Dumbledore have planned a special Dark Arts class for you guys---the D.A.

"My only purpose at Hogwarts this year is to teach the D.A., however, Mr. Potter here shall be my assistant."

"No wonder I smell something," said a voice far too familiar and annoying. Draco Malfoy "Potter? Assistant of a class? Hope he doesn't blow the whole school up!" His fellow Slytherins, Crabbe and Goyle, snickered. "And my, the werewolve's back? No wonder people are saying that Dumbledore's gone mad." Malfoy turned on Harry. "Are you sure you can handle the job of an assistant, Potter? You're not gonna start crying about that pathetic Black are you?"

"SHUT UP!!" Harry roared as six different spells hit Malfoy. Harry looked around, the people with their wands out are Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Neville, Luna, and to Harry's surprise, Cho.

Snape was on the train and walked past the compartment just then, "What happened here? Speak!" he demanded.

"It's Potter and his friends, sir," Malfoy said innoncently. "They tried to jinx me!"

Snape stared at Harry, and Hermione interrupted. "Professor, Malfoy was mocking Harry about Padfoot." Shock came across Snape's face and confusion across Malfoy's.

"Fifty points from Slythering, Draco, and detention. It is the order of the Headmaster not to disturb Potter and his friends." Snape said coldly.

"What?!" Malfoy exclaimed. "You can't do that! My father'll-"

"Your father have no more power in the Ministry, Draco. If it wasn't for Dumbledore, you would've been expelled!" Snape roared. "Now come along now, leave!"

Malfoy stayed where he is. "I'd rather be expelled than to hang around you guys!" He said, and just then, there was an explosion at the front of the train and a dozen Death Eaters marched down the corridor.

"Come, Draco!" One of them said, and Malfoy, recognizing his father's voice, left with him.

Lupin got to his feet, "Harry, Ron, Hermione, lead the others to other compartments and protect the kids there." He commanded, and Dumbledore's Army left.

"Now, now, Lupin..., how great the pleasure would be for me to assassin a werewolf...," one of them said.

"Why, MacNair, the pleasure is mine to throw you back in Azkaban." Lupin said coldly.

"Why, you... STUPEFY!" MacNair yelled, pointing his wand at Lupin.

"Protego!" Lupin shouted, shielding himself. "Rictusempra!" The tickling spell hit MacNair who dropped to the ground, laughing uncontrollably.

"Crucio!" Snape shouted, pointing his wand at Lupin. Lupin dodged the spell, and stared in bewilderment--Snape is under the Imperius Curse.

"Stupefy!" Lupin cried, stunning the person controlling Snape. Snape, having regained his freedom, pointed at his former possessor, and yelled: "Teleportate!!" The next second, the Death Eater was gone.

"Where'd you-" Lupin begin.

"Azkaban," Snape said simply and went to fight off other Death Eaters.

In another compartment, Cho was surrounded by two Death Eaters, "LEAVE ME ALONE!!" She screamed. "IMPEDIMENTA!!!" Her attackers stopped in their tracks as a third one jumped into the air and pointed his wand at her.

"Avada Kedavra!"

The green light shot straight at Cho, a single tear trickled down her terrified face, at least she'd be able to see Cedric. A person moved in front of her, it was Michael Corner.

"Michael!" She screamed as Michael's lifeless body dropped on to the ground.

"Cho! Move!" Harry's commanding voice said, "Expelliarmus!!" The Death Eater's wand flew out of his hand.

"Expelliarmus!" Another voice said, disarming Harry. "How proud the Dark Lord must be when I present him Potter's head." The Death Eater said, "Avada Ke-"

"Stupefy!" It was Neville, who came to Harry's rescue.

"Accio Wand!" Ginny yelled, retrieving Harry's wand.

"Thanks," Harry said. "Reducto!" And he broke one of the Death Eater's wands. But it wasn't enough, there's too many Death Eaters.

"Stupefy!" One of the Death Eater had hit him and knocked him to the ground. Weakly, Harry looked up at his fellow friends, fighting. He looked out the window, in the center of the blur, a dark and tall tower stands in the middle of a lake, Harry passed out, his scar on fire.

"Harry!" A voice cried, Harry opened his eyes again, the scene was different than before he passed out. Dumbledore, Tonks, and Moody have joined the battalion, and Ministry officials were rounding up defeated Death Eaters. However, there were still a few moving around, fighting.

Harry looked at the floor, several lamps have been hit off the ceiling, he stood up. "Locomotor Lamps!" The lamps came to life and rammed themselves against the rest of the Death Eaters. Fudge Apparated and arrested all of them, and left.

Harry looked around, the Hogwarts Express is a mess, though the train is still moving. His friends were everywhere, Ron and Hermione have a bloody nose and Neville have several cuts. Rest of the D.A. were all bruised and injured, but on the ground next to him, looking lifeless and a mess--Cho Chang.

"Cho!!" Harry crawled towards her, "Cho!! Cho!! Say something!!"

Lupin laid a comforting hand on his shoulder, "Don't worry, Harry. She's not dead..., she's been hit by the Cruciatus Curse, but she'll be alright."

Harry looked around at the mess, "What happened?" He asked.

"Well, mate," Ron said, while Moody heals him, "After you were knocked out everyone started fighting more, and then Dumbledore, Tonk, and Moody Apparated, and knocked out a considerable amount of them, and then someone tried to kill you, but Cho pushed you out of the way but was hit by the Cruciatus Curse, and them you came around."

The Hogwarts Express stopped at the Hogsmeade station and terrified students scrambled out of the train, Dumbledore pointed his wand at his throat and said, "Sonorus."

"STUDENTS!!" He said in the magically enhanced voice, "ALL STUDENTS ARE TO REPORT TO THE GREAT HALL FOR DINNER IMMEDIATELY, NO LOITERING. ALL STAFF MEMBERS ARE TO BE ON THEIR GUARD AND OFFER A SPELL TO FURTHER PROTECT HOGWARTS."

"Quietus," He lowered his voice and turned to Harry, "Harry, would you please round up the other members of the D.A. and meet me at my office, I have a few things to say to you guys after dinner."
