| . . . . why? oh, well, since you want to know . . . I was born on Feb. 19, 1983, (that makes me 20) at the base hospital in Bellevue, NE. I currently live in Bellevue, but have lived in Germany (i would tell you where, but i can't remember how to spell it) and California between then and now. I tend to get addicted to things, and then set them aside for a while, then get addicted agian - at various times i have been involved in leatherworking, beading, TaeKwan-Do, the SCA, fabric painting, pottery, writing, web-page building, various and assundry series of anime, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the Rocky Horror Picture Show, counted cross stitch, light construction, very LIMITED forms of console video games, and i'm sure some other things that i have forgotten at the momment . . . I tend to stay addicted to computer games in general, though WHICH game i'm addicted to is up for grabs. In the past, i have been addicted to Everquest (duh), the Realm, Diablo/Diablo: Hellfire/Diablo II/Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, SimCity Classic, Dungeon Keeper (which won't play on my current computer; *cry*), Heritic, and Age of Empires. I actually resisted EQ for a long time based on the fact that i, for the most part, don't like playing first person, and there really isn't another viable way to play EQ. I am still into (for other activities) Celtic knotwork, Buffy, counted cross stitch, anime, fabric painting, Rocky (when i can both find it and afford it at the same time), and lots and lots of reading - most books are lucky if they last me 4 days, and that's if i HAVEN'T read them before - and i've slowed down how much i read a lot in the past couple of years. I'm also into fanfiction (other peoples, not mine) - mostly of Ranma 1/2 (anime) and Buffy. i don't watch much in the way of TV - mostly just Buffy, and now that it's gone . . . . *cry* i occationally catch something while Andy's watching it downstairs, but i don't go out of my way to watch anything else. i collect a lot of things - books by a couple of authors, including Mercedes Lackey, Bruce Coville, Roald Dahl, and Tamora Pierce, and the American Girl books; hippos in any form - i have stuffed animals, statues, some books, stickers, magnets, pins, a coin . .. anything i can get my grubby little hands on; Pokemon cards - i don't really like the show, but i like the Gameboy games (i have all except Ruby and Sapphire, because i don't have an Advance yet) and i like the TTC cards. i still collect some Magic: the Gathering, but not as much as i used to - i don't see how anyone can afford to collect them now. i collect nail polish, as well, which is a little odd considering that i hardly ever WEAR the stuff. as for Anime - i like Ranma 1/2, Inu-Yasha, Fushigi Yugi, Gravitation, Angelic Layer, Revolutinary Girl Utena, and a little Lum (Urasei Yatsura) for series. for anime movies, i like Princess Mononoke, Vampire Hunter D, Laputa: Castle in the Sky, Kiki's Delivery Service, My Neighbor Totoro, and Perfect Blue that i can remember right now. My limit for console video games is mostly the Wild ARMs (PS/PS2) series, though i like Tekken(not sure) too. I also like the Shinning Force (Sega Genisis) series, and i kinda like Sonic the Hedgehog (Sega). I enjoy WATCHING people play most games, though. that's it for now . .. probably update again sometime in the distant future. |
