Why should you take time to read these pages? These WebPages are a research project for AS/SOSC 3990A 6.0, Feminist Perspectives on Media and Technology, and because of that I wish not only to inform but also to criticise alternative feminist media. Moving from the reading of Scarlet Pollock and Jo Sutton's article Women Click: Feminism and the Internet, and of Linda Steiner's The History and Structure of Women's Alternative Media, I wish to analyse and compare three feminist ezines. I will discuss the extent to which they confirm or contradict the assumptions made by these authors and if they can, therefore, be qualified as alternative feminist media. As a starting point then, it is important that I revisit the arguments made by Steiner, and Pollock and Sutton.
