v    Other Highlights: -

Departmental Activities: - 

           1)     The department runs an activity titled “Today’s Plant” under which a fresh plant    is displayed with its Botanical description & uses. Students GroupWise conduct the activity.

2)     The department displays botanical, scientific articles, news reports on notice board.

3)     As a part of syllabus, excursions are arranged for both F.Y. & S.Y. students to visit local flora, nursery, industries etc.

The department participated in the exhibition of Medicinal Plants arranged locally in which about 120 specimens were exhibited with their features, uses & Ayurvedic preparations (2000-01).
