Is there really a Kuaför named Cengiz?
What's the connection?????
Let's face it. The world is how you care to see it. In our world there is a Kuaför Cengiz, and it's in Kuaför Cengiz's world that we begin our journey.
Kuaför Cengiz's world is one filled with mud (çamür), coal (komur), exhaust (egsoz, egzoz, eksoz, egzost, etc.) and toast (tost (3)).
It's a world where you can find 2 bit (3 kagit) pharmacists who sell medicine for the sake of profit, and coffins made by Koroplast. It's a world full of bloated people who eat only bread and it's by-products, and spend a vast majority of their lives drinking tea. Decorated with street diggers, fawcet repairmen, and scrapmetal dealers, Kuaför Cengiz's world is most certainly out of control. Here, all sense of reality is abandoned and dead.
No wonder he cuts heads!
To make matters worse, there's no stable government; and it's rife with sadistic municipulaties (10) that take pleasure in creating general discomfort to the public at large. And though the citizens don't seem to like it much, they complain very little.... or maybe there is very little they can do anyway.
Relentless construction and rampant commercialism exist in Kuaför Cengiz's world. But in here, the purest froms of capitalism and democracy can be found.
One would think that praying to an Almighty Power and abstaining from material ways, would help restore your sanity. But it's impossible to maintain peace of mind in a land where a sordid few have managed to create the general public opinion that we are all in a never ending crisis. Nothing will ever change in Kuaför Cengiz's world!
Kind of makes you want to jump out the window, huh?
Well, it's not all that bad. Especially after you learn that there's still brotherhood in the town of Fatih, and the smoke is always great!
Putting all reality aside, there's no other place like Turkey. TCGC and brutal reality forever!!!
