F12 to setup boot menu,select IDE CD device

Press any key to boot from the CD.

delete the existing C: partitions for Disk 0 at Id 0 on bus 0.

Highlight the first partition and press the <D> key.

Press the <Enter> key.

Press the <L> key to confirm deletion of the partition.

Press the <Enter> key to continue.

The message A new partition for Windows XP has been created on

12345 (Hard Drive Size) MB Disk 0 at Id 0 on bus 0 on atapi [MBR] appears.

This partition must now be formatted.

Press the <Enter> key to start the formatting

Customer will call back after fininshing formatting

 

Run the Dell PC Restore Utility,When the Dell screen appears press

and hold the Ctrl key on the keyboard, press the F11 key, then

release them both at the same time. The Dell PC Restore by

Symantec window appears,Click the Restore button,Click the Confirm

button,The system recovery process was successful. appears.Click

the Finish button. The computer will restart
