Physical Description –
Since Shalev was born to a half Haighlei mother and a Kaled'a'in father, he doesn't actually look like a typical Haighlei. His skin is black and his hair also but it is only slightly curly. Since he keeps it reaching down to his shoulders and always tied behind his head in a very tight plait, the hair is pulled back against his scull and doesn't even look very curly. He did inherit his height from the Haighlei members of the family and stands at six feet and eight inches tall, with a build that is very slender, but still muscular and strong. The things that set him apart the most from other Haighlei are his intense blue eyes. Lev tends to smile more than the rigid, costume bound Haighlei, and has a nice, straight set of startlingly white teeth to go along with his ready smile.
Personality –
Besides in appearance, Lev is nothing like his Haighlei relatives. He loves to laugh and smile, and he loves adventure and excitement. Although he is generally a cheerful, friendly person, Shalev doesn't do quite so well around women because he is slightly shy when it comes to things like that. He hardly ever gets angry at people, having all but no temper at all, and takes teasing very graciously indeed, returning a banter without ruffled pride or any such thing.
Brief History –
Shalev's grandmother- his mother's mother- was a k'Leshyan envoy to one of the Black King Empires who wedded a Haighlei noble. Shalev's mother grew up and moved to White Gryphon, where she married a k'Leshyan man and had three boys and a girl, Shalev being the youngest of the four. Lev's parents died when he was fifteen, which was also the year he joined the Silvers. He has a good relationship with his three older sibs and their families, and they often all get together for a meal and an update on each others' lives.
