Races of White Gryphon
There are 6 main races you can play, they are.
Human
These come in 5 groups. The Tayledras or Hawkbrothers. These people were once part of the Kaled'a'in but split off after the mage wars. They mainly live in the Pelagirs and the only reasons they would be in White Gryphon are either they are ambssadors or have decided to join the clan K'Leshya.
The Shin'a'in. Another set of old Kaled'a'in peoples, they live on the Dhorisha Plains. The reasons for them being in White Gryphon are much the same as the Tayledras. The tribe K'Leshya. These are the original people of White Gryphon and settled it after the mage wars. The people of the black kings (sorry, I'll fix this up when i find out their real name). These are the natives of this land. The K'leshyan people were transported here by gate and settled before they knew who owned the land. Outlanders. These include Valdemarians, Hardornens and the people of any race that is not one of the tribes or the people of the black kings.
Gryphon
There are two breeds of Gryphon. Those based on Eagles and those based on Falcons. There are less of the latter but they do exist. Gryphons are all at least minor mages and live in eyries in the rock of White Gryphon. Gryfalcons are generally smaller and nimbler, they have hand-like claws meaning they have to attack with claws bunched. They often have more endurance.
Kyree
Kyree are large dog-like creatures that originally came from the Pelagirs. They are gifted in Mindspeech and are often Historians. They come in Male, Female and Neuter.
Tervadi
Tervadi are bird-like creatures who reputedly have the most beautiful singing voices. They often function like Bards.
Hertasi
The Hertasi are shy creatures who love to serve all the other races. They normally have a sly sense of humor and take great delight in the mistakes of humans. They also have a tendency to matchmake.
Dyheli
Dyheli closely resemble deer but, as they will inform you, they are greatly more intelligent. They are all gifted with Mindspeech and can transfer languages into peoples minds, something that most people avail themselves on at one point or another.
