Physical Description –
Short and stocky, Kev doesn’t look like the soft-hearted young man he is. His dark eyes often hold a flash that can easily be mistaken for anger and his short dark hair is always standing on end. He generally looks disreputable, the only time he doesn’t is when his mother takes him in had for a special occasion. His dusky skin complements his dark hair and eyes.
Personality –
Kev always falls for the girl who’s crying at the time and generally gets his heart broken. He can’t resist hurt animals, no matter how vicious or ugly they are. Kind of heart, Kev uses his gifts to help those around him.
Brief History –
Kev was born in White Gryphon and has never left it except to go on short camping trips, his gifts making him too essential to the running of the city for him to leave it for long. Kev has had his heart broken countless times and probably will have it broken many times more. His gifts appeared early in life, due to a strange incident where he was in the heartstone room, being shown how it worked by his uncle when he accidentally joined with the heartstone and sensed that his mother was in danger, in a burning building no less. His uncle pulled him out of the close rapport with the heartstone but Kev had already been in contact long enough to form a permanent attachment. He can now sense any damage being done to anything within the range of the heartstone. His happiest moment was when his bondbird – a sooty owl – bonded with him.
Gifts -
Kev has the healing gift – with a twist. Along with being able to heal (anything) he can also sense injury anywhere in the city, and this includes injury to wooden buildings and plants as well as the more conventional humans and various animals.
