| Miles and miles of wall (over 1,000 I believe) stretch out in front of and behind us. Built to keep out the Mongols and other formidable foes. It was, in the end, unsuccesful. It makes one consider other unsuccessful walls--the Berlin Wall, the wall between Israel and Palestine.... | ||||||||||||||||||||||
