...MOVIE PICKS: I love going to the movies...don`t u?? Anyways, it`s a past time for me and a way for me to be in someone else`s skin...or to be in a fantasy world and see the world of imagination @ work!

  • Serendipity...It's a romantic comedy about chance, fate and destiny. If you are a believer and understand how chances can play a part in your life, you will enjoy this movie and appreciate the deliberateness of the plot and the interesting twist of fate with the players in the love journey.

  • The Mommy Returns...A saga of the movie "The Mommy", this sequel is quite useful because it skillfully integrates the plot of the original and gives the audience a clearer picture of the history of the Curse and how everything is interwoven with each other. However, as interesting as the graphics and special effects were, some of them were a bit tacky and senseless.

  • Hannibal...This movie is the sequel to "Silence of the Lambs", it's not as thrilling as the original and the ending wasn't quite as I had hope to be...although there are certain parts where I had thought was very bold and mind disturbing. Nonetheless, the overall plot was up to par, but a little disappointment on my part that the leading role wasn't played by Jodie Foster.

  • Enemy at the Gates...Very brutal war scenes at the start of the movie that turns into a dramatic battle between the Soviets and the Germans....The inevitable life struggle of a sniper--his loyalty to his country, his true love and his loyalty to his best freind, is touching and tragic.

  • Family Man...What if?
I dunno, sometimes pple dun realize what they have until it slips from their hands...so what if I was given the chance to "GLIMPSE"...I personally would want to spend my life with a love one. You know, finding someone you love and enjoy spending time with...tht's priceless.

  • Dracula 2000...Following the typical paths of any vamp biting movies, with a bit of history here and there. Surprisingly, there is a fresh twist to this at the end which I personally think it's smart.

  • Charlie's Angels...Exciting action sequences and great effects, make you want to take up some karate and kick some asses. It's a spectacular entertaining movie! The angels are playfully sexy to down right smart and it's a toss salad of fun with a splash of humor here and there.

  • Meet the Parents...The horror of impressing your future-in-laws is silly and exaggerated appropriately in this hilarious comedy by Ben Stiller.

  • Men of Honor...Also based on a true story, it's extremely intense on the drama scale; it is a very powerful drama about a diver's determination but it does make your heart sink also. It 's wise to stay away from this movie if you are looking for a light-hearted movie.

  • The Titans...Based on a true story...amazingly touching and quaint for my viewing pleasure...you'll immediately be drawn to some of the characters.

  • Nurse Betty...A mixture of twists and confusions to baffle and make u laugh...there is a refreshing plot to this movie.

  • Almost Famous...The rock'n journey of a 15-year old rock journalist in the 70's...who struggled to do a cover story on a rock'n roll band; soon learned that things aren't always as glamorous as it seem for the players. His innocence amidst the "players" is interesting as he embarks on a personal journey of his own.

  • Bless the Child...Plot is typical of any satanic cult movies, good vs. evil agenda...This is one of the many followers of a six sense wanna be films...well not exactly but a Hollywood trend...kid and adult teaming up...although the kid is quite charismatic and Basinger is a pretty sight, even for me.

  • What Lies Beneath...Greatest thrill i've had in a while...hold on to your seats...dun wanna say too much to ruin it...be ready to scream! It's worth the ride! Two thumbs up!

  • The Klumps...Creative play on Murphy's end...it's amazing and hilarious how u sit there and for a moment u forget that they are all one actor...tht's the beauty of this movie...haha

  • Gone in 60 secs...Very entertaining and interesting...lots of great action sequences...the cars were awesome!! Plot is somewhat under develop...nonetheless, I do enjoy Nicolas Cage in this one...although Anglina Jolie could use more parts instead of looking pretty for 5 secs...hehe

  • Gladiator...The grandeur Rome Empire...I`m sure some of u agree. Power struggles, jealousy, betrayal, strength and greatness, finally victories in one package...hehe...not forgetting the gruesome battles and elaborate fighting scenes...exhilarating and exciting I say...definitely a must see for guys!!

  • U-571...based on WWII history...dramatic and intense performances by all actors ...suspenseful and entertaining!!

  • Shanghai Noon...pretty funnee scenes...plot is hilarious...but do watch it for Jackie Chan!! hehe

  • High Fidelity...John Cusack`s Top 5 list, music and love are main players in this movie...he narrates his whacked love life and how he tries to find closure by analyzing his failed loves...past and present...plot is well-developed and well thought.=)

  • Centerstage...surprisingly delightful and tasteful...great music and dance moves, lots of body language i might add...definitely a date movie.
