| Editors Notes | Shapeshift capability. Now presumed to be extinct. Crater's World was home to an ancient alien civilization dependant on deposits of sodium chloride deep within the planet. Federation scientists believe that a slow climate change exhausted the reserves of sodium chloride. Originally titled M113, it has been rechristened in honor of the professor and his wife for their intense archaeological work on the ruins on the planet. Currently a team of Federation archeologists are carrying on with the work started by Crater. |
