Usagi vs. Minako? (part three) by Karsa Rated PG Sailor Moon is copyright © 1992 Naoko Takeuchi/Kodansha, TOEI Animation. English Language Adaptation © 1995 DiC Entertainment. (n other words, I don't own SM. But I will. Oh, yes. I will.) Guys, a quick note here (I'll do the rest of my prattling at the end.) But this is set somewhere else.. like.. another reality. Anyway, on with it. And just so you don't get confused or lost, the exchange students are- Martin Natalie (Natty, or Nay-nay to annoy her.) Chan Hannah (Hannah-banana, if you want the get mauled.) Alpert Erin (Eggy or any variation, like Eggerina, Eggers, etc.) Terrell Mark (He's just Mark. and sometimes Murk, but I'm the only one who calls him that.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Minako looked over her shoulder nervously. No Americans, and no (the gods willing) Tsukino Usagi. Now all she had to do was make it to her class.. and through the rest of the day with out seeing them. Glancing over her shoulder again, she caught a glimpse of a pair or reddish-blond buns on the top of someones head, and a shoulder length blond cut next to them. 'Tsukino Usagi,' she thought to her self, 'and Alpert Erin.. it has to be.' They were getting closer, and her homeroom was still across the school _and_ upstairs. There was no way she could make it in time. Resigning herself to facing them, Minako moved out of the heavier traffic in the hall and waited. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Eggy was worried. A few seconds ago, she had seen Minako's red bow floating through the crowd, but then it had just... not been there anymore. And they had to find her.. they had to make things right again. Natalie, who was looking around almost frantically to find Minako, suddenly stopped and grabbed Mark's arm, bringing them all to a screeching halt and they bumped into each other in a very...cartoonish manner. Following Natty's lead, they all turned to the side and found themselves face-to-face with Aino Minako. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Minako studied the five people facing her. Tsukino-san, her blue eyes shining with sorrow and worry. Chan Hannah, with her thick black hair pulled back into a ponytail, limping slightly from what looked like an old injury of some kind. Alpert Erin, her gold eyes- gold eyes? Minako looked again. Yes, Alpert-san's eyes were indeed gold- her eyes smiling with compassion, and her hands playing nervously with the necklace on her neck. (AN: Gee, where else would a necklace be?) Terrell Mark, running his hands through his short blond hair, staring at her from behind his glasses with the bluest eyes she'd ever seen. And Martin Natalie, her dark brown hair pulled into two high pigtails like Tsukino-san's. Martin-san and Chen-san were both Asian looking.. Chan-san could have passed as a native, but Martin-san looked almost 1/2 American. Not that it really mattered anyway. Weather or not they were Japanese, Minako was going to have to face them. Gathering her courage and standing at her full height (Which wasn't much, but it was more than Tsukino-san's.) Looking straight at Martin-san, who appeared to be the leader, she swallowed her pride. "Can I help you?" Minako asked. "Well, Aino-san-" Natalie began, but never quite got to finish. "NATTY! HANNAH! MARK! EGGERINA!" a voice yelled down the hallway. The four Americans turned to look at for the source. "Justin?" Natalie asked, before running to the tall boy running towards them. natty hugged the tell stranger tightly and grinned up at him. "What are you doing here?" He laughed. "Well, _Nay-Nay_ my parents decided that since I'm Japanese and all, we should move here.. I didn't tell you because I didn't know we were moving to the Juuban district." "Well," Natty answered. "Its good to see you. But if you ever call me Nay-nay again, it will be... un-good." Usagi looked at Mark. "Who's Justin?" she asked. Mark smiled. "Justin is Natty's boyfriend. You should probably call him Wantinabe-san, though. He's Japanese, and Natty is half Korean, half American, so for some reason, their parents never quite allowed them to be in love.. but they're still cute." "Yeah," agreed Eggy. "But he has bad timing. Now, Aino-san.." she said, turning back to Minako. But Minako had taken the little distraction as an indicator that she wasn't needed any more. So she left. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ (end part 3) Thanks to everyone who wrote to me. Happy B-Day, Hannah. Have a great week, everyone.
