(n other words, I don't own SM. But I will. Oh, yes. I will.) Guys, a quick note here (I'll do the rest of my prattling at the end.) But this is set somewhere else.. like.. another reality. Anyway, on with it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ As last we saw Tsukino Usagi, she was headed outside to face Aino Minako, who has some sort of problem her. The American exchange students (Alpert Erin (Eggy), Martin Natalie (Natty), Chen Hannah, and Terrell Mark) wait inside the arcade with Matoki, backing their friend. Now, back to the action! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Okay," Usagi said as she stepped out of arcade. "What do you want Aino-saAAHHHHHHHHHHH!" she screamed as she was doused with something dark and sticky. "Ha, you ditz! Lets see how everyone likes you with red cool-aid hair!" Minako laughed. "Usagi-chan!" Natalie cried, running out of the arcade with Mark, Eggy, Hannah and Matoki on her heals. "What did you do to her, Aino-san?" Mark asked, trying to stay calm. "I dyed her hair bright red, Terrell-san," Minako replied very matter-of-factly. "Why?" Eggy asked angrily. "What did she ever do to you?" "What did she do to me?" Minako repeated. "What did she do to me? I'll tell you what she did to me, Alpert-san! She stole my best friend! Everything was just fine! Then little miss perfect has to come along and now.. now he's totally different! Not like you Americans could ever even pretend to understand!" Minako screamed, attracting stared from the other people on the sidewalk. Eggy looked at Hannah. Hannah looked at Natty. Natty flipped her right pigtail back and looked at Mark. Mark looked at Eggy. Then, all four began to laugh. "Evey!" Mark gasped out. "And Eugene!" Natty added between giggles. Matoki, Minako, and Usagi gave each other strange looks. "Who and who?" Usagi asked. Hannah was the first to recover. "Its really not important," she told them. "Just know that we Americans actually do understand, Aino-san." "No, you don't. Or at least, Terrell-san doesn’t. Or else," Minako cried, turning to Mark, "you never would have come to me to try to get me to.. uh.. 'hook you up' with Tsukino-san!" The three American girls began to giggle, and Mark simply shook his head, his short blond hair moving a little in the wind. "I wasn't asking you to 'hook us up' or whatever. I was looking for Tsukino-san because we're doing a Science project together and I needed directions to her house. I was just wondering if you know where she was. Anyway, I just broke up with my AMERICAN girlfriend a few days ago.. I'm not ready for anyone new just yet." Eggy looked surprised. "You and Ruth broke up? Where was I?" Natty looked at Eggy like she had grown another head. "In Japan, baka." Minako finally realized what Mark had said. "You mean.. I just made a fool of myself.. and you all hate me now? Oh, kami!" she cried, running off. Usagi looked at her hair. "Does this stuff come out?" she asked Natty. "Uh.. Usagi-chan.. no that I don't care deeply and emotionally about you hair," Matoki said, "but we kinda just totally killed Minako's self-esteem. What are we gonna do now?" "I dunno, Matoki-oni-san. But we'll fix it," Usagi replied. "We'll fix it somehow." ------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Guys! I got a letter from Val!" Natty called, running up the Eggy, Mark, and Hannah the next day in school. "Read it!" Eggy grinned. "Okay," Natty replied, opening the letter and reading it aloud. "Dear Natty, Eggy, Hannah and Mark, Hey, there. How's Japan? America is... the same. Lauren and Shrinni are scaring me. I thought I would tell you. Don't ask why. Langley is (like Longfellow was) boring. We have a project in Civics. Do you guys have to take Civics there? I forgot. Eugene and Evey broke up last week. They’re back together now. The cafeteria is still serving Nachos.. and the fries are still soggy. Yuck. Do you have time to watch DragonBallZ there, Natty? And Eggy, you finally get to watch "Oh, My Goddess" right? Well, I'm kinda writing this in Trig and my teacher (gag) is gonna get me in a second, so I'll hand this off to Lauren in the hall. Hey, guys. It's Lauren here. I'm in science (yahoo- 5th period! Almost lunch!) Its boring. Moon phases, Yawn. Brad (my lab partner now) is being... weird. Ow! Josh pulled my haaaair! Okay, anyway. Hannah- the bus is so quiet with out you. There's no best friend to yak at.. and no MB! (yay!) The seniors are soooooo scary! Kay, anyway. Really not much going on here. I got a 98% on my math test! Yay! Aren’t you so proud? You should be! Meep. Brads gonna tell on me in a second. Later! Lauren (and Val!) PS- Hey, peoples. Guess who. Yes, Shrinni. The great one and only Sharon! Miss me? I stole the letter from Laurie. Yeah! Go me! Anyway, looks like the bells about to ring. Talk to ya. Luv Shrinni!" Hannah smiled. "Its always good to hear from home, isn't it? I sure do miss everyone." Mark nodded. "Me too." Just then, Usagi ran up to the four of them. "Hey, guys," she panted. "Listen, I just saw Minako.." "Okay, guys," Eggy said "Time to implement plan 53wfh8yf479-make Minako feel better. By the way, Usagi, I like your hair. Red really is your colour!" Natty hit Eggy playfully. "Shush, or we'll need project.. uh.. whatever to make Usagi feel better. Now come on.
