Born on November 6th, 1983 (making me 20) at Fort Polk in Louisiana. A coon ass from the start.
After living in DeRidder/Rosepine, Louisiana for a while after I was born, Mom, Dad and I hightailed it to New York where Dad was in the Army.
After New York we were stationed in Germany. I started school over there. I have a few memories and pictures of a little 3 year old Krista drinking "ice beer" and Jack Daniels, dressed up in camou or wrapped up in bandages. Teen parents. Sheesh. =)
From Germany we moved back to DeRidder/Rosepine and we weren't there long before we picked up and moved to Irving, Tx. (Around Dallas) I got through half of 4th grade at Brandenburg Elementary (Go Cougars!) before we moved again.
We moved to Alief (Around Houston) where I got all the way through elementary graduation at Douglas Smith Elementary (Go Sharks!).
I started Junior High at Bammel Middle School (Go Patriots!) in Spring, Tx. (North side of Houston) I nearly finished all of 7th grade there before we moved AGAIN.
Finished the last couple weeks of 7th grade and all of 8th at Thornton Middle School (Go Patriots, again!) in Katy, Tx. We didn't move again until I graduated from Cypress Springs High School and went off to College in Nacogdoches, Tx at Stephen F. Austin State University.
"We" split into Mom's and Dad's and Krista's... separately. Dad lives in Stafford, Tx.. Mom is also now in Stafford. They're both seeing and living with new people. I currently live with my Mom. I'm taking a little vacation from school so that I can work and pay off some of my credit cards (yes.. i'm a statistic). I will be back in Nacogdoches in June! I MISS YOU SFA! =)
