Construction and consecration
What is a Mojo bag?
A Mojo carries magickal items or symbols that serves a purpose forthe person who carries it. The Mojo bag is often called a "Shaman's bag" because it is used by (some tribes of) Native American Shamans.Mojo's are generally made of silk but they can be made of other typesof material.
Construction:
Cut two squares are can be a 3x3 to a 5x5. Hand sew three sides toform a bag.
For each type of bag I will lay out a basic guide line, so you canpersonalize your bag and make them work for YOU. Use the informationon this page to make your own bag. One made by you will be morepowerful for you than any Mojo on the 'net.
If you make one entirely on your own take in consideration thecolor, moon phase, symbols and type of herbs used. All of whichshould go with the purpose of the Mojo.
Consecration and charging:
There is no wrong way to do this. This part is entirely up to you.I recommend setting up a six foot in diameter circle with an alterrepresenting the elements. Dedicate it as a tool in each elementand/or dedicate it to whatever god or goddess you worship. At the endor near put it up close to you or on your third eye. Direct yourintent on it. Lastly close the circle you can now wear the Mojo (it'snot recommended to wear the Mojo before consecration)
