This is a story about Zap and Nap who lived on the
planet Rap. As they were growing up, they were best friends. There was
nothing Nap would not do in helping Zap, and visa versa. Best friends
until the end they vowed.
But then came the turbulent years. Yep...they discovered
girls. Although Zap and Nap had dozens of girlfriends, they both liked
one girl. Her name was Tap. Blond hair, great personality and body to
match. "The ideal mate," they both thought to themselves
After Zap told his father, whose name was Lap, and the
ruler of planet Rap, how he felt about Tap, Lap was pleased. But after Zap
told his father that Nap also liked Tap, Zap's father, Lap, sent word out
to Nap's father Bat, informing him to tell his son Nap to forget about
Tap, or serious conseques would follow.
After Nap's father, Bat received the note from Zap's father,
he was livid. "Just because Lap is the ruler of Plant Zap gives him no
right to tell me what to do." So Nap's father, Bat sent a note back to Zap's father Lap via The Stork Express telling Lap to go jump out his spaceship without a chute. (still with me?)
As soon as Zap's father, Lap received the note from Nap's
father, Bat telling him what to do, he was so mad his eyes turned red with
rage. So Lap declared war on Nap and Zap's neighborhood
Zaps father, Lap called his army of men together and
told them to prepare for war. So the men filled their super soakers up
(bullets were banned on Planet Zap because they leave a bloody mess
and hurt if you were hit,) mounted their tricycles (the price of fuel needed
for their space ships was outrageous) and headed towards Nap and Bat's
neighborhood expecting the worse.
As the closer they got to Nap and Bat's neighborhood, they
heard music and laughter. After they entered Nap and Bat's neighborhood,
Lap was surprised to see a party going on. "What is the meaning of this?" Lap wanted to know.
Soon Nap's father, Bat appeared from the crowd and walked
over to Lap. With a soft voice and a smile on his face, Bat told Lap
"war does not solve problems, but adds more problems by leaving misery
and heartbreak in its path". Then Nap appeared and told Zap that their
friendship is more important than loosing it over a ditzy blond. "If
you want to date Tap, Zap, go ahead". But Zap told Nap that he felt the
same way about their friendship. Then Nap and Zap hugged each other. "Friends until the end" Zap told Nap
After Zap and Nap shook hands, Nap's father Bat invited Zap
and Lap, along with Lap's army in joining them. So Zap and his father Lap, along with Lap's army of men joined in with the others enjoying food and
having so much fun, that by nightfall everyone was merry and
feeling no pain!
