KEN STREMSKY DISCUSSES SEPTEMBER 11, 2001

                  LESSONS OUR COUNTRY SHOULD LEARN FROM SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 AND 
                  DECEMBER 7, 1941

                  If we had learned the lessons from the attack on Pearl Harbor 
                  discussed on the movie Tora! Tora! Tora! which was made over 
                  two decades ago, the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 
                  might have not happened or might have not been as bad. 

                  Congress needs several members of the United States House of 
                  Represenatives and several members of the United States Senate 
                  to obtain the same information the President of the United 
                  States of America obtains on national security matters with 
                  the names and localities of sources omitted. 

                  The President of the United States of America should meet with 
                  these members of the United States House of Representatives 
                  and the United States Senate on at least a bi-weekly basis to 
                  discuss national security. 

                  I recommend that members of Congress especially Presidential 
                  candidates read The Running Man by Stephen King and Debt of 
                  Honor by Tom Clancy. I also recommend that members of Congress 
                  especially Presidential candidates read other Tom Clancy 
                  books. Debt of Honor which was published several years ago 
                  mentioned a pilot committing suicide by flying his plane into 
                  a building that houses a branch of Congress. 

                  Congress should investigate throughly why the attacks were as 
                  bad as they were on September 11, 2001. Congress has the 
                  ability to ask questions of any member of the executive branch 
                  it wants including the President of the United States of 
                  America. People who are asked questions may of course decide 
                  not to answer some questions because they think national 
                  security would be jeopardized. 

                  I hope President Bush will be willing to answer questions 
                  before a joint session of Congress. 

                  If I am the President of the United States of America and an 
                  attack like this occurs, I will be willing to answer questions 
                  before a joint session of Congress because I would want to 
                  decrease the probability that an attack as bad would happen 
                  again. I would answer no comment when I thought national 
                  security was jeopardized. 

                  We need to make clear to terrorists and the countries that 
                  support them that we will defend ourselves by any means 
                  necessary including the usage of nuclear weapons. 

                  If we had retaliated the way we should after our Marines were 
                  murdered in Lebanon in 1984, I doubt terrorists would have 
                  attacked us on September 11, 2001. 

                  If we had retaliated the way we should have after Pan Am 103 
                  was blown up, I doubt terrorist would have attacked us on 
                  September 11, 2001. 

                  A country that normally turns the other cheak when the country 
                  is significantly attacked encourages others to attack the 
                  country as well. 

                  Punishments do not need to be swift. Some punishments may be 
                  surgical strikes. Some punishments may be massive. 

                  Innocent civilians may die. I would rather have the innocent 
                  civilians of countries that support terrorism against us die 
                  than citizens of the United States of America die. If citizens 
                  in countries that support terrorism against us do not want to 
                  be obliterated by the United States of America, they should 
                  make sure their countries have leaders who are not suicidal 
                  maniacs.
