                  I think one of the best ways to learn about the issues is to 
                  read books. 

                  I hope that people will read the books on this document and 
                  then discuss them with their friends.

                  THE ART OF WAR BY SUN TZU AND STRATEGY

                  The Art of War by Sun Tzu is the best book I have ever read 
                  dealing with the importance of strategy and spies. 

                  THE SECOND TREATISE OF GOVERNMENT BY JOHN LOCKE

                  The Second Treatise of Government by John Locke has
                  influenced my political views more than any other book.

                  THE FEDERALIST PAPERS

                  The Federalist Papers is the best book I have read dealing
                  with our constitution.

                  CAESAR: A BIOGRAPHY AND OUR REPUBLIC

                  Caesar: A Biography by Christian Meier discusses how the Roman 
                  Republic became an empire. 

                  Our Republic might become an empire the same way. 

                  I hate empires because absolute power corrupts humans. 

                  AMERICAN CAESAR: DOUGLAS MACARTHUR

                  American Caesar: Douglas MacArthur by William Manchester 
                  discusses the life of Douglas MacArthur. 

                  I am glad President Harry Truman removed Douglas MacArthur of 
                  his military command. 

                  Douglas MacArthur forgot that the President of the United 
                  States of America is the Commander In Chief of the military. 

                  THE LAST LION: WILLIAM SPENCER CHURCHILL AND LEADERSHIP

                  The Last Lion: William Spencer Churchill by William Manchester 
                  discusses the life of William Spencer Churchill who was one of 
                  the best leaders the Earth has ever had. 

                  VERTICAL RUN AND SURVIVAL

                  Vertical Run by Joseph R. Garber is one of the best books I 
                  have ever read dealing with survival. 

                  LAST OF THE BREED AND SURVIVAL

                  Last of the Breed by Louis L'Amour talks about survival. One 
                  of my favorite books. I have read the book several times. 

                  NEEDFUL THINGS AND EVIL

                  Needful Things by Stephen King discusses evil and how easily 
                  many people are corrupted by evil. 

                  BACK TO THE MOON AND OUR SPACE PROGRAM

                  Back to the Moon by Homer H. Hickam Jr. discusses the benefits 
                  of going back to the moon. 

                  THE LUCIFER PRINCIPLE AND HISTORY

                  The Lucifer Principle: A Scientific Exploration into the 
                  Forces of History by Howard Bloom discusses human history and 
                  the history of evil. 

                  THE PRINCE AND POLITICS

                  The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli is a must read by anyone who 
                  wants to challenge the status quo especially an evil status 
                  quo because it says what often happens to people when they 
                  challenge the status quo.

                  The Discourses by Niccolo Machiavelli is also a great book
                  and it deals with Republics. 

                  THE ANDROMEDA STRAIN AND BIOLOGICAL WARFARE

                  The Andromeda Strain by Michael Crichton is one of the 
                  scariest books I have ever read dealing with biology. 

                  1984 AND GOVERNMENT

                  1984 by George Orwell discusses practices that many 
                  governments and businesses use. 

                  ANIMAL FARM AND THE ECONOMY

                  Animal Farm by George Orwell discusses an economic system that 
                  does not work well for long periods of time. 

                  FATHER'S DAY AND THE CONSTITUTION

                  Father's Day by John Calvin Batchelor discusses one of the 
                  scariest scenarios which the Constitution allows which is two 
                  Presidents of the United States of America competing for power 
                  at the same time. 

                  CAULDRON AND WARFARE

                  Cauldron by Larry Bond discusses warfare. 

                  DEBT OF HONOR AND WARFARE

                  Debt of Honor by Tom Clancy discusses war fare and a plan 
                  being flown into a building that houses a branch of Congress. 
                  The book was written several years before September 11, 2001. 

                  THE RUNNING MAN AND WARFARE

                  The Running Man by Stephen King discusses guerilla warfare and 
                  other things. The book also has a plane being flown into a 
                  building. The book was written many years ago.
