The Twisted Journey




She was told that she had the power
to make "IT" better,
to turn the pain
into a harmless intruder
that only visited her body,
without thoughts of war.

I guess she wasn't strong enough,
not smart enough,
not good enough,
to conquer the evil,
the monster
that lived within.

Her body's message lines were filled,
with time bombs exploding constantly,
and turning a once vibrant life;
into a journey of despair.
