The rainbow was magic in itself,
a palette of pastels from a fairy's paint set.
Then the unicorn came, emerging royally from the sky,
with his silky coat and silver horn.

I believe the Gods knew I needed something special and unique,
to take me to a world that is fantasy and childlike.
They knew that reality was too much.
I am as fragile as hand blown glass.

The unicorn looked at me with his soulful brown eyes.
I climbed on his beautiful silken back.
He flew me to a land above the clouds,
a place where love lives, a land without tears.

I want to hang my gown on a shiny pastel star.
To sleep on one of the many clouds sprinkled with fairy dust.
To drink sweet nectar from a golden cup
I want to live in this place where dreams come true.

I'm greedy, the Gods tell me.
I am here for a purpose,
to bring the magic and wonder
of being a child back into my life.
,
We have to keep the child inside alive.
Take his innocence, imagination, sense of adventure, freedom, fun,
and combine it with adult wisdom and maturity.
Then people become the very best they can be.
