I remember it well. The day dystonia crept by It looked over my body, thoughts of harm in its eyes. Like a scrawny, mean cat, it would sit, watch, and wait then pounce on tender flesh with sharp claws of hate. It stalks my path, a dark shadow that lurks gathering strength to cause pain with each evil jerk It thinks it has won, that I am a weak fool. I will shiver and cower while it ruins and rules. Shh, I have discovered a weakness, it sleeps when I do Ill just dream my escape find a door, and slip through. By Kathie Stehr Jan 18,2000 |
