 
This Fairfield Chocolate Shop was located at 628 Post Road in Fairfield in 1929. It was owned and operated by my grandmother's sister, Lillian (Marie Odeline) Truchon (1895-1933) and her husband Harry Cravatis. Not far from the beach, the Post Road in Fairfield has always a popular area for townspeople to meet and shop. Following the 1929 season, the shop relocated to 164 Post Road, Darien near the "new" Darien Theater. Mr. Cravatis also died in 1933 and is buried in Salem, Massachusetts
