| Here I'm waiting to go down the isle. Behind me, signing the guest book is the second-in-command of our hospital, and the first person to kiss me after the service. The man at the door with the two ladies is the NCOIC (non-commissioned officer in charge) of the clinic that I work in. Over my right shoulder is my "monster", and next to him is my boyfriend (the DC policeman), who will roll me down the isle. Behind him is my wonderful brother-in-law. |
