I am an English and reading instructor at Hagerstown Community College, Hagerstown, Maryland where I teach developmental English, reading, and English as A Second Language. I have been teaching for 35 years and have enjoyed every minute. Because I am a life long learner myself, I love helping others reach their educational goals.
After many, many years of traveling and moving around the world with the Unitied States Air Force, my husband and I have settled down in the mountains of Pennsylvannia. Our surroundings are is so beautiful and peaceful. It's a new stage of life as our three sons are adults now and are living in Manhattan, New York. We enjoy visiting them often, and they love coming "home" to the country.
I have a masters in Education from Frostburg State University, and I am TESOL (Teacher of English of Other Languages) certified from Columbia University. I am presently working on a certification for teaching online English. I love computers and use them more and more in the classroom and online.
