We recognize and understand the importance parent involvement in our kindergarten program. You will find parents volunteering in our classrooms on a regular basis, as well as helping with special events specific kindergarten. We know how much a good home-school relationship can impact a student's learning and attitude about education. We view our relationship with families as that of a team working for one common goal; educating each child!
We feel that it is our professional responsibility as educators to welcome student teachers and members from the collegiate community into our classrooms. These people learn a lot from our students, and us, as we learn from them. Together, we can bring some of the newest strategies and ideas into our classrooms and to our students.
It is our goal for all of our students to develop a love for school and become life-long learners. We teach our students the skills and strategies they need to become productive, contributing members of society.
