Heaven's Record Book
Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was
against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out
of the way, nailing it to His cross. --Colossians 2:14
When I was lost, my sins were being recorded one
by one. It was all being written down.
...and the dead were judged out of those things which were
written in the books, according to the works. --Revelation
20:12
For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither
any thing hid, that shall not be known and come
abroad. --Luke 8:17
One day I heard that Jesus died to pay my sins
debt at Calvary and that He rose the third day
from the grave. Then I trusted Him alone for my
salvation, and He forgave me of ALL my sins.
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may
be blotted out... ~Acts 3:19
I even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine
own sake, and will not remember thy sins. ~Issiah 43:25
Now that I have been saved, God keeps me saved.
God never writes down any sins on my account.
Why? Because I received the payment for all my
sins. Jesus died for every sin I have ever committed
or will commit.
Who shall lay any thing to the charge (put on record) of
Gods elect (His children)? Romans 8:33
So you see, when I received Jesus, I received the
payment for all my sins. Now Christ never charges
a sin to my account. If Jesus put one sin on my
account, I would have to go to Hell forever.
For the wages of sin is death (eternal death in the Lake of
fire)...Romans 6:23
King David had sinned and committed two horrible
sins, adultery and murder, and yet he says in Psalm
32 that God did not impute that to his record.
Why? Because he had received the payment for
sin. In the Old Testament, they looked forward to
the cross. Romans 4:7 is a quote from Psalm 32
after Davids sin.
Saying, blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and
whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the
Lord will not Impute sin. --Romans 4: 7,8 To impute sin
means to add to ones account.
How does God deal with me now that I am his
child? Not as a lost sinner, but as a son. When
I confess my sin, now that I am saved, it is not to
blot sin from my record, but to blot sin from my
heart so fellowship can be restored.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us
our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- 1 John 1:9
After we are saved, we are not told to pray for salvation
again, but to confess each sin we commit, as
soon as we commit it, so fellowship will be restored.
Joy is a by product of our fellowship with God.
Our relationship stays the same, but because we
have a sinful nature, fellowship fluctuates. After
King David committed adultery and murder, he did
not pray, restore unto me my salvation, because
his sins were not imputed unto him. But he did
pray, Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation... (Psalm
51:12). because when fellowship is damaged, the joy
is not there as it once was. When a Christian dies,
he/she will not stand at the Great White Throne of
judgment because his/her sins were judged at
Calvary, but he/she will stand before the Bema Seat
to determine what type of reward he/she will
receive, for his/her service to Christ.
Every mans work shall be made manifest for the day shall
declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire
shall try every mans (Christians) work of what sort it is. If
any mans work abide which he hath built thereupon, he
shall receive a reward. If any mans work shall be burned,
he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as
by fire. - 1 Corinthians 3:13-15
Has YOUR sinful record been made clean
through Jesus? If not, Jesus wants to save you!
FIRST, you must accept that you are a sinner.
The Bible says, For all have sinned, and come short of the
Glory of God - Romans 3:23
SECOND, because you have a sin debt, you are
condemned.
For the wages of sin is death... - Romans 6:23
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is
the second death. and whosoever was not found written in
the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. - Revelation
20:14, 15
THIRD, know that Jesus Christ loves you and died
for you.
But God commendeth His love toward us, In that, while we
were yet sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8
FOURTH, know that God the Father put all your sins
on Jesus and condemned Him in your place, on the
cross.
For He (the Father) hath made Him (Jesus) to be sin for
us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness
of God in Him. - 2 Corinthians 5:21
FIFTH, you must accept Jesus Christ as the payment
for all your sins (past, present, future) to be
saved.
But as many as received Him (Jesus), to them gave he
power to become the sons of God (Children of God), even to
them that believe on His name. - John 1:12
For by his grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves; it is the gift of God; Not of works, lest any man
should boast. - Ephesians 2:8,9
If you would like Gods forgiveness, put your trust
in the Lord Jesus Christ today!
(Sample prayer) Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and
deserve to pay my own sins debt, but I do believe that You
died for me to pay the debt I owe. Right now I repent of my
sins and trust You alone for my salvation.
Not only did Jesus forgive me of my sin, but He
gave me His own righteousness.
Because I have Christs righteousness put on my
account, God has justified me. it is not that I am
righteous, but God sees me that way because of
Jesus. Justification means to declare righteous.
Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man,
unto whom God Imputeth righteousness without works.
Romans 4:6
Is Jesus kind? Yes, so it was put on my account.
Is Jesus Loving? Yes, so it was put on my account.
Is Jesus holy? Yes, so it was put on my account.
Is Jesus gentle? Yes, so it was put on my account.
Is Jesus Just? Yes, so it was put on my account.
Is Jesus Good? Yes, so it was put on my account.
Is Jesus meek? Yes, so it was put on my account. (and so
much more.)
You see then, Jesus not only forgave my sin, but He
gave me His perfection (righteousness). This doesnt
mean I will never sin. It just means that in Gods
sight I am justified.
For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall
exceed the righteousness of the scribes and pharisees, ye
shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. Matthew
5:20
The only way our righteousness can exceed the
righteousness of the legalistic Pharisees, is if we
have a righteousness from another source; that
source is Jesus.
