Ps 9

Verse 10
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.


So many times in our daily lives, we are forsaken by those around us. We are cheated, mistreated and disappointed by man constantly. Let down so often that it is difficult to trust anyone after a while. So, why should God be any different? Because, God is the master of love. The prince of all that is good. No matter what, he will never let you down. Satan will try to convince us otherwise but, if we listen to God and believe in him the way we are supposed to we will see that he will always be there for us. Through everything. By everything I mean...absolutely everything. Good, bad & otherwise. He is the only one who can truly love you this way and give you what you need in this life. I rely on Christ to bring me earthly joys that will have to suffice until the day I can meet him in heaven. Every day, no matter what goes on, he always leaves a little something to make me smile. To bring me a piece of his love. Whether it be something as simple as watching the breeze blow through the leaves on the neighbor lady's tree or a resident smiling at me and thanking me for helping with her dog. Watching a small child laugh as his/her parents play with them. The sight of a rose in full bloom. The beauty of words written out telling another how much they love you. Icecream...makes me smile. Chocolate of course. There is nothing religious about ice cream but, knowing it's there and that God sees to it I can always get some when I need it...makes me smile. He provides...no matter how small the item. I only wish I could send God a big bowl of ice cream back to make him smile and feel good too. *Grin*
