My name is Siann. I am 27 years old and I live to write. I have been writing poetry since I was a child, probably 10 or 11 years old. It is the first thing that I can recall doing that I loved with all my being. When I am inspired I can be a writing force to be reckoned with. The things I write are more feeling and emotion than anything else.
The things that inspire me are my husband and children, my family, the strangers I see during the day, a piece of music that I love. Many things in my life inspire me to write.
Writing is a release for me. Something that helps me get through a day sometimes. I write when i'm sad, happy, angry or even feeling silly.
So far I have published one collection of poetry called Love and Loss (In My Words). It can be found on www.lulu.com
I hope to publish more in the near future
As a hobby I also take photographs. Those can be found on the photos page. Photos are a way for me to see things in a different way. To let other people see things through my eyes. |

In times of trouble we stand up tall, we fight for what we believe in and we never give up. We will never be deterred from our goals to keep our freedom and we shall overcome all obstacles that get in our way. Remember that as our troops fight for us and die for us. It is them that need our thoughts and prayers, so please with a spare moment think of them and never forget why they do what they do. Always remember that they fight for us. |

Spending one moment everyday to pray for those that keep us safe is not a waste of time. Take that time to pray for their safety and to think of them and their sacrifice. Take that time and think of their families sacrifice. Take that time and love them because the only way they can do what they do is because they love us. |
