Friday, May 26th
Left the house for LAX at 8:15 am to catch a flight to San Francisco. In San Francisco, caught an Aeroflot flight to Moscow, via Seattle.

Saturday, May 27th - Moscow
Arrived in Moscow. Checked into Grand Marriott. Total time from the time we departed our house in Temecula until we arrived at the hotel was 26 hours.

Sunday, May 28th - Moscow
Took a 20-minute walk from our hotel to the Kremlin and Red Square. Driver picked us up at the hotel at 10:00 pm.

Monday, May 29th - Ust-Kamenogorsk
Memorial Day�a day we will never forget. Flew to Ust-Kamenogorsk (via Astana and Almaty, 3 separate flights). Departed from Moscow at 12:50 am. Arrived in Ust-Kamenogorsk at 2:30 pm. Went to Children�s Home to finally meet Anara! Total amount of time without sleep = 28 hours!

Tuesday, May 30th - Ust-Kamenogorsk
Visited Anara twice at the Children�s Home

Wednesday, May 31st - Ust-Kamenogorsk
Visited Anara in the morning. Went to court this afternoon. After court, we went to the Recorder�s Office to get Anara�s adoption certificate and new birth certificate.

Thursday, June 1st - Ust-Kamenogorsk
Visited Anara at the Children�s Home

Friday, June 2nd - Almaty
Picked up Anara from the Children�s Home at 7:30 am, and left for the airport. Flew to Almaty and went to host family�s home.

Saturday, June 3rd - Almaty
Spent the day playing with Anara and souvenir shopping.

Sunday, June 4th - Almaty
Our coordinator drove us up to the mountains for sightseeing.

Monday, June 5th - Almaty
Went to the US Embassy to get all of Anara�s paperwork. Did some more shopping

Tuesday, June 6th - Moscow
Flew from Almaty to Moscow Got Anara�s physical exam and went to US Embassy to process her paperwork Received her visa in the evening

Wednesday, June 7th
Flew from Moscow to LAX
