The journey so far - 1982 - 2002
| News from me. 'Having read the site, I've just been reminded that I wanted to be a lawyer - well that didn't happen! Its been fun though. I studied politics and english lit. at UWA, then did a graduate secretarial diploma, and landed a job with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. I worked in the Perth office for a year, then in Canberra with Gareth Evans, and then was posted to Santiago, Chile (3 years) and Vietnam (Hanoi, 4 years). I met a bloke and went over to Vancouver to live with him after Vietnam and it didn't work out so I finally came back to Perth in 1997. In the middle of all that I became a bit of a travel junkie and had some Excellent Adventures. I work now for Rally Australia, in competitor liaison. 
Strange as it may seem, I am now a motorsport expert. When I claim this with rally drivers around though they laugh and don't take me seriously. Sally |
