| Who we are: Interviews.me.uk was set up by Kayvan Shokrollahi, a Specialist Registrar in Burns and Plastic Surgery. Kayvan qualified with MB ChB in Bristol after intercalating a first class honours degree in Molecular Pathology. He continued to gain his MRCS at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and completed an MSc in Clinical Engineering in Cardiff and a Master of Laws Degree with commendation in Medical Law in Newcastle. He was also awarded the Hunterian Professorship by the Royal College of Surgeons. He has experience on an interview panel appointing SHOs and has developed a series of practical and lecture-based courses in presentation skills in the role of honorary lecturer for MSc students. Having used his system to help many friends reach success at SPR interview, he has now developed it as a service available to everyone. The team is composed entirely of Clinicians including a Clinical Psychologist with experience as a director of communication skills, and senior lecturer in both communication skills and postgraduate medical education. |

New MMC Structured Interviews and Traditional Interviews The new style interviews can include a range of situations in addition to the "traditional" interview. These range from clinical scenarios (including some with actors), delivering presentations - with or without preparation - and communication skills as well as other "skills" stations. We will improve your abilities to deal with any of these situations. |
| How we do it: We have key Clinicians, including a Clinical Psychologist, who can provide you with live interview practice, help and advice. We do this over the internet with live audio-visual webcam scenarios. To do the job right, we need the right individuals doing the interviews and the right amount of time. We recommend 2 sessions, spaced a few days apart to allow candidates sufficient time to practice and improve based on the first session, and consolidate and gain confidence during the second. Cost, quality assurance and charitable donations: The cost per hour for sessions is �75. We have found paypal the simplest way of undertaking transactions, as it is very secure. 5% of our fees will be donated to medical charities or not-for-profit organisations in healthcare. Study Leave Funding - If you are entitled to re-imbursement of study leave expenses, we will provide you with a letter and invoice detailing the session(s) you have undertaken and the cost. We can also provide multiple fixed sessions for institutions, including live ones.
