The Main Entrance to the Fibres Division at
Village Chohal in Hoshiarpur.The turnover of this division alone was Rs 400
crores.The Plant was headed by Mr S K Maheshwari. Mr PKK Nair was the
VP(Marketing) and Mr V K Aggarwal was the Dy General Manager (Mktg & CTS) to
whom I was reporting.
This
Plant was established in 1989 in the Technical
collabration with
ZIMMER , Germany. This is one of the few continous process plants in the world with production of more than 200 MT PSF fibres per day.
The Residential Campus is next to the plant with
Swiming Pool , Sports Club , Gymnasium (Prem Chand Dhingra ex- mr universe
as a coach) and a Bar. I had a Beer during my stay on 13 Jan 2001. I meet many
TITIANS there - Mr VK Malhotra, Vivek Suri and Prem Chitkara. All were very nice
and helpful.
The Guest House is like an
A/C hostel. Food is excellent and Cold Drinks are free. I was posted at the
THAPAR HOUSE,124 JANPATH,NEW
DELHI and was looking after the Marketing of Polyester Staple
Fibres. JCT LIMITED has been a steeping stone in
my
professional career and I shall
always cherish my moments with JCT Family.
