{Demarest Family Association (1970)}: Jacques founded the DeMares family in
England to which he fled during the "Inquisition", probably about 1567. He
settled in Norwich where he and his family belonged to the Walloon Church.
According to the estate papers, there were 3 sons; Francois, Pierre, and Jean.
He died age 85 years.
