He came to America in 1675 via Germany, Amsterdam, and England. He was a
Huguenot. A member of the Hasbrouck Party that came to Boston and then
sailed on to NY, and on. Reached Ulster Co. in 1675. He took the Oath of
Allegiance to the English Crown on 09/01/1689.
Jean was married 3 times, although all his kids were born during his first
marriage to Jamomina. His will was dated 03/29/1714, probated 11/10/1719,
filed at Trenton, NJ. Executors.. his son Peter & Abraham Brower.
